APPROVAL OF SPIRIT BASEBALL
CLUB USE OF FISCALINI FIELD
FOR BENEFIT GAME ON APRIL
6, 1991.
STAFF REPORT
The San Bernardino Spirit
use of Fiscalini Baseball
baseball game.
The current contract allows fifteen (15) dates for non-
baseball related activities and this would be the first
request for one of these dates. The lessee is responsible
for utility costs and any required costs for labor, materials
and supplies.
Baseball Club has requested the
Field for a non-California league
The event is to serve as a training session for spirit
employees in preparation for the coming season. It is
anticipated that attendance would be approximately 1,500 paid
persons with proceeds derived going to Cystic Fibrosis
Foundation.
Justification for Placement on the Supplemental Aqenda
This request was received in the Parks, Recreation and
Community Services Department on March 28, 1991; therefore,
it is necessary that it be approved on the April 1, 1991
Supplemental Agenda in order to be effective for April 6,
1991.

The San Bernardino Spirit request permission to host a bene'h softball game
betwlten the Hollywood AII.Stars and the LA Rams on Saturday April 8th, 1991.
The proceeds from this event will go to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
This event will also serve as a training session 'or all Spirit employees as we
prepllre for our opening night Wednesday April 10th, 1991.
