STAFF REPORT

The Council did previoosly auth::>rize the proceedings to go fo:rward for the fonnation
of a special assessnent district to allow for the public financing of the subdivision
iroprovenents to be ronstructed within City subdivision Tracts 14184 and 14185, in two
phases, i.e., Assessnent District No. 977A and Assessnent District No. 977B. Proceed-
ings for Assessnent District No. 977A have been successfully cx:nq:>leted, and the
attached Resolutions would fonnally allow the initiation of proceedings for the seoond
tilase, i.e., Assessnent District No. 977B.
TtE developer has oonpleted the construction of the second phase of the :iIlprovements
and all ooc:urrentation has been prepared to allow the initiation of the proceedings
and the setting of the tine and place for the public tEaring. The public hearing is
proposed to I:e held on March 4, 1991. Upon the ccnclusion of the public hearing,
tonds can be sold and the prcperty owner would then be reimb.Jrsed for th::>se public
:iIlprovements previously installed in these proceedings.

RESOLUTION OF THE. CI.TY OF SAN BERNARD::;O ADOPTING A MAP
SHOWING THE PROPOSED BOUNDARIES OF A SPECIAL ASSESSMENT DISTRICT

WHEREAS, the COMMON COUNCIL of the CITY ~F SAN BERNARDINO,
5 CALIFORNIA, has been presented and has rece~':ed a map showing
6 and describing the boundaries of the area Froposed to be
7 assessed in an assessment district under ~;,e provisions and
8 authority of the "Municipal Improvement Ac:: cf 1913", being
9 Division 12 of the Streets and Highways Code c: the State of
10 California; said assessment district known and designated as
11 ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 977B (hereinafter referred to as the
12 "Assessment District").

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON
14 COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1.
That the above recitals are all true and
16 correct.

SECTION 2.
~hat a map of the Assessmen:: District showing
18 the boundaries of ~he proposed Assessment Dis~rict and lands and
19 property to be assessed to pay the costs ar.d expenses of the
20 proposed acquisition of improvements designated as "PROPOSED
21 BOUNDARIES OF ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 977B" is hereby submitted,
22 and the same is hereby approved and adopted.

SECTION 3.
~hat the o.riginal map of sa~:l proposed bounda-
24 ries of the proposed Assessment District and one =opy thereof is
25 to be filed in the Office of the City Clerk.

SECTION 4.
A certificate shall be endorsed on the original
27 and on at least or.e copy of the map of the Assessment District,
