One (1) Telephone System Coordinator poaitlar and (2) clerical posklorrs staff the Telephone Support Division. Dirott the Hianen Resources Departrtient to update Resdution 4433, Sectlon 2, to rotlect these actions. f pi ADMINISTRATIVE ANALYST I JOB DB3CRIPTION Under administrative direction, performs a variety of analytical functions, including research and report writing on a variety of municipal issues. Collects, analyzes, and presents information concerning City operations, policies and procedures and provides community education and training in a variety of areas; and performs other related duties as required. REPRE$ffi1TATIVE DUTIES Providers wurteous and expeditious customer service to the general public and City department staffs. Conducts spacial studies and prepares reports, including recoa- mendations for corrective action and methods for implementation. Conducts surveys and performs administrative research and statistical or financial analysis. Gathers and analyzes data; coordinates data collection from outside sources, and makes recommendations on the formation of policy and procedures. Coordinates departmental activities with other City departments and divisions and other civic organizations and agencies. Makes presentations before City committees and various citizen and community groups. Incumbents assigned to various City departments assist with analysis, employee salary and benefit issues, departmental budgets and other personnel issues. Incumbents assigned to the Fire Department disseminate information concerning City emergency plans and procedures and home and business preparedness measures; serve as liaison between the City and community to maintain up-to-data knowledge in the field of disaster preparedness; assist in the production and coordination of disaster exercises and disaster preparedness. Routinely adheres to and maintains a positive attitude towards City and Department goals. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in public administration, business admin- istration, political science, finance or related field and six (6) months experience performing analysis, research and report writing. One year of related experience may be substituted for six months of education (15 semester units) up to six months. Possession of a valid Class "C" California driver's license is required. For out-of-state applicants, a valid driver's license is required. A valid Class "C" California Drivar'a License suet be obtained within ten (10) days of appointment (CA Vehicle Code 12405c).
