Synopsis of Previous Council Action:
04.21.08. The Mayor and Common Council approved the refund and waiver of development
processing, permit and inspection, and development impact fees in the amounts of $1 0,492
(refund) and $34,773 (waiver) for the establishment of Norton Space and Aeronautics Academy
and directed staff to return on June 2, 2008 with a reimbursement agreement.
Recommended Motion:
That the Mayor and Common Council continue consideration of a reimbursement agreement
until August 4, 2008.

STAFF REPORT
Subject:
Norton Space and Aeronautics Academy - Reimbursement Agreement for Waiver/Refund of
Fees.
Background:
On April 9, 2008, the Ways & Means Committee recommended approval of the request for fee
waivers/refunds. On April 21, 2008, the Mayor and Common Council approved the refund and
waiver of development processing, permit and inspection, and development impact fees in the
amounts 01'$10,492 (refund) and $34,773 (waiver) for the establishment of Norton Space and
Aeronautics Academy and directed staff to return on June 2, 2008 with a reimbursement
agreement.
Financial Impact:

Recommendation:
That the Mayor and Common Council continue consideration of a reimbursement agreement
until August 4, 2008.
