08-19-86 Resolution No. 86-334 adopted chanrying the name of
Orange Show Road, west of Route 1-215, to Auto PlaziJ
Drive.
05-17-88 -- Second Amendment to Owner's Participation Agreement
executed by the parties.
Recommended motion:
That the plans for revisions to freeway signing on Route 1-215, to
indicate Auto Plaza Drive, in accordance with Plan No. 7771, be
approved; and the Director of Public Works/City Engineer authorized
to advertise for bids.

STAFF REPORT
Plans for replacing four freeway sign panels, for
northbound traffic, and three for southbound traffic have been
prepared by the Engineering Division and the project is ready to
be advertised for bids. The new panels will indicate both Auto
Plaza Drive and Orange Show Road. Also, two groundmounted signs
(3' X 9') will be provided at the Auto Plaza Drive/Orange Show
Road Interchange.
Listed below is an estimate of the total project cost:
Construction Contract $ 12,600
Engr. & Insp. (W.O. #1332) 1,300
Sub-Total $ 13,900
Contingencies (15%) ! 2,10Q
TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT COST $ 16,000
The sign panels will be furnished through Ca1trans. A
check from the Redevelopment Agency, in the amount of $14,000,
has been submitted to Caltrans as advance payment.
Paragraph 4 of the Second Amendment to the Owner's
Participation Agreement, provides that the estimated cost of
$30,000 will be equally borne by the Participating Owner and
Redevelopment Agency. Therefore, all costs incurred will be
billed to the Agency.
We recommend that the plans be approved and authori-
zation granted to advertise for bids. An encroachment permit
will be needed from Caltrans before the project can be
advertised.
