,Jun", 1988 -- Alloeiltion of $143,500 from CDBG Funds approved in
1988-89 Budget.
Recommended motion:
That the plans for installation of street lighting on Waterman
Avenue, from the Santa Ana River to Central Avenue, in accordance
with Plan No. 7802, be approved; and the Director of Public
Works/City Engineer authorized to advertise for bids.

STAFF REPORT
Plans for the installation of street lights on Waterman
Avenue, from the Santa Ana River to Central Avenue, have been
prepared by the Engineering Division, and the project is ready
to be advertised for bids.
Listed below is an estimate of the total project cost.
Construction Contract $ 114,000
Engineering & Inspection (W.O. #1855) 9,600
$ 123,600
Contingencies (l5%)i 18,400
TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT COST $ 142,000
An amount of $143,500 has been allocated, under Account
No. 121-544-57954, from CDBG Funds to finance the costs incurred
for these improvements.
We recommend that the plans be approved and authori-
zation granted to advertise for bids.
