Synopsis of Previous Council action:
05-05-82 Resol uti on No. 82-191 adopted approvi ng fi nal map for Tract No.
11118.
08-15-88 --- Finding made that encroachment of private facilities within the
street easements are violations of City Codes, and direction given
to notify property owners to remove said encroachments.
05-15-89 --- City Engineer and the City Clerk directed to proceed with the
vacation of the parkways on Meyers Road and Meyers Court, within
Tract No. 11118
Recommended motion:

1. That Plan No. 7809, for the vacation of the parkways on Meyers Road and
Meyers Court, be approved.

STAFF REPORT
Authorization to proceed with the proposed vacation of the parkways along Meyers
Road and Meyers Court, was granted May 15, 1989, by the Mayor and Common Council
relative to the many encroachments by the property owners along said streets.
This request was City initiated so the normally requested vacation fee will not
be received. As a matter of course, the adjoining property owners will be
notified of the proposed vacation. Any existing City or public utility easements
will be reserved.
Approval of Plan 7809 is the next step in the formal proceedings.
