Synopsis of Previous Council action:
8-4-86 -- Resolution No. 86-321, adopted by the Mayor and Common Council,
found that the public interest, convenience and necessity required
the formation of a landscaping maintenance districL
7-7-86 -- Resolution No, 86-263, adopted by the Mayor and Common Council,
declared that all the land included within the boundaries of
said district will be benefited by the maintenance of said
landscaping.

STAFF REPORT
As required by the provisions of Chapter 12.90 of the Municipal Code and
Resol utions No. 86-321 and 86-263. which established the District. the annual
assessment roll relative to Assessment District No. 974 (Rialto and Eucalyptus
landscaping Maintenancel has been prepared and is attached to the Resolution.
The roll for 1989-90 totals $4.064.00 and is submitted to your Honorable Body
for action as required.

RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO CONFIRMING THE
1989-90 ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 974,
LANDSCAPING MAINTENANCE, RIALTO AND EUCALYPTUS AVENUE AREA.
WHEREAS,
by Resol uti on No. 86-321, the Mayor and
5 Common Council found that the pUblic interest, convenience, and
6 necessity required the formation of a landscaping maintenance
7 district; and
8
WHEREAS, by said Resolution No. 86-321, the Mayor
9 and Common Council formed an assessment district known as
10 Assessment District No. 974 for the purpose of providing
11 landscaping m~intenance in the area of Rialta Avenue and
12 Eucalyptus Avenue pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 12.90 of
13 the San Bernardino City Municipal Code; and

WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 86-263, the Mayor and Common
15 Council declared that all the land included within the boundaries
16 of said district will be benefited by tne maintenance of said
17 landscaping; and
18
WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 86-263 declared that an
19 annual assessment shall be levied on all land within the District
20 to provide funding for said landscaping maintenance and the
21 admi nistrati on thereof; and
22
WHEREAS,
an Assessment Roll has been prepared
23 totalling $4,064.00 which sets forth the individual assessments to
24 be levied on each of the parcels of land within Assessment
25 District No. 974 for the fiscal year 1989-90,

RESOLUTION OPRV. 1989 ASSES. ROLL AD~
o 1 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON
2 COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
3 SECTION 1. That the Mayor and Common Council do hereby
4 find and determine that the proportionate costs to be levied
5 against the parcels of land within Assessment District No. 974
6 are correctly set forth on Assessment Roll No. 974 for the
7 fiscal year 1989-90. designated as Exhibit "A" and attached
8 hereto. and do hereby confirm said assessments.
9 SECTION 2. That the City Clerk is directed to cause a
10 copy of this Resolution to be transmitted to the Office of the
11 AUditor-Controller for the County of San Bernardino with the
]2 request that the individual assessments be placed on the subject
]3 1989-90 property tax bills for collection together with all
o 14 other property taxes.
