STAFF REPORT
The Board of Water Commissioners completed the Focused Faci 1 ity
Master Plan for the Wastewater Treatment Plant in 1987. The plan
sets forth the necessary treatment -facilities .and treatment
capacity through the year 2010. The first increment within the
plan is to redo the headworks of the. plant and construct the Pilot
Nitrogen Removal Project. T~e entire treatment process had to be
laid out with consideration of the hydraulic gradient of the
treatment facilities. The existing property on which the plant is
located was inadequate for the future facilities, and necessi~ated
the acquisition of proper.ty north of and adjacent to the existing
plant property boundary.
The property consists of 13.488 acres and is located east of
Arrowhead Avenue and south of the extension of Orange Show Road.

The Board of Water Commissioners, at their regular meeting held on
May 16, 1989, unanimously voted to accept the Grant Deed and
authorized the Secretary to submit said Grant Deed to the Mayor and
Common Council for acceptance and approval.

accept a Quitclaim Deed from San Gorgonio Land Company, Inc.

hereto marked Exhibit "A", and made a part hereof as fully as
though set forth at length herein.
