Lorraine Velarde. the Aaency's AdIlI1nistrstive Services Manager. will be
resigning frOll her position on June S. 1989. to assume the Executive Assistant
position in the Kayor's Office. Attached is the appropriate Resolution
substituting Arlene S. Berman to sign all necessary documents to secure access
to the Aaency' 8 safe deposit box in place of Ks. Velarde.
The Resolution has been approved as to form and legal content by Agency
Counsel. To i.pleaent this adlll1n1strative change. it is. therefore.
recomaended that the Coam1ssion adopt the attached Resolution substituting
Arlene S. Beraan as authorized signatory for the Agency's safe deposit box.

RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING STEVEN H. DUKETT, EXECUTIVE
DIRECTOR; ARLENE S. BERMAN, DEPUTY DIRECTOR; AND GARY CLERMONT,
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO SIGN ON BEHALF OF THE REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY FOR SAFETY DEPOSIT BOX, AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 5173.

5 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION OF
6 THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
7 WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San
8 Bernardino has the use of Safety Deposit Box No. 1436, at the
9 American National Bank, San Bernardino, California; and
10 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5173 adopted December 5, 1988
11 authorized Steven H. Dukett, Gary Clermont and J. Lorraine
12 Velarde to sign on behalf of the Agency for the Safety Deposit
13 Box; and

WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Redevelopment Agency to
rescind Resolution No. 5173 and adopt a new resolution deleting
15
16 J. Lorraine Velarde as signatory and adding Arlene S. Berman to
17 the Resolution as authorized signatory for the Safety Deposit
18 Box.
19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Steven H. Dukett,
20 Executive Director; Arlene S. Berman, Deputy Director and Gary
21 Clermont, Administrative Assistant, are each individually
22 authorized to have access to and sign necessary documents to
23 secure such access on behalf of the Redevelopment Agency of the
24 City of San Bernardino for Safety Deposit Box No. 4981, American
25 National Bank, San Bernardino, California.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 5173 is hereby
2 rescinded.
