Mayor Elect W. R. Ho1cOlllb will assume office on June 5, 1989 and in that
capacity will also serve as the Chairman of the Redevelopment Aaency of the
City of San Bernardino. Attached is the appropriate Resolution designating
W.R.. Ho1cOlllb as check signer for all Agency checks and vouchers. The
Resolution has been approved as to fom and legal content by Agency COUDSel.
It is, therefore, recOlllllended that the ColDlD1ssion adopt the attached
R.esolutiOll designating W. I.. Ho1cOlllb as check signer for the Agency to be
effective on June 5, 1989.

RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION OF THE
3 CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO DESIGNATING CHECK SIGNERS AND
COUNTERSIGNERS FOR REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY CHECKS AND VOUCHERS: AND
4 RESCINDING RESOLUTIONS NOS. 5185 AND 4765.
5 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5185 designated that Agency checks
6 will be signed by one of the following: Chairman Evlyn Wilcox or
7 Commission Member Esther Estrada, who respectively serve as
8 Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Redevelopment Agency of the
9 City of San Bernardino: and
10 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5185 designated that Agency checks
11 will be countersigned by one of the following: Secretary, Steven
12 H. Dukett, or Arlene S. Berman, Assistant Secretary, who would
13

sign only in the absence of Steven H. Dukett in accordance with
procedural directive: and
15 WHEREAS, the Community Development Commission now desires
16 to provide for different signers:
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
18 COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

20 W.R. Holcomb or by Commission member Esther Estrada, who
SECTION 1. All Agency checks shall be signed by Chairman
21 respectively serve as Chairman and Vice Chairman, of the

22 Redevelopment Agency.
SECTION 2. All Agency checks shall be countersigned by the
24 Secretary of the Agency, Steven H. Dukett, or by the Assistant
25 Secretary, Arlene S. Berman.

SECTION 3. Resolutions Nos. 5185 and 4765 are repealed.
