That the Real Property Section of the Public Works Department be
authorized and directed to proceed with changing the name of South
"0" Street (South of Century) to Fairway Court and MacKay Drive
(between South "E" and South "0" Streets) to Fairway Drive.

STAFF REPORT
We received a petition from the owners of Fairway
Commerce Center to change the name of South "D" Street, South
of Century Avenue, to Fairway Court, and change the name of
MacKay Drive, between South "E" Street and South "D" Street, to
Fairway Drive. Fairway Commerce Center owners have requested
. the change of name to coincide with their current development
and proposed signage for the said area. Five addresses will be
affected by the proposed change. However, only the street name
will change, actual numbers will remain. A large portion of
the adjacent property is vacant land.
It is recommended that the Real Property Section be
authorized to proceed with the name change. With your authori-
zation, this office will make the necessary notifications and
investigations, and prepare the appropriate resolution.
