CITY OF SAN BERNQRDINO - REQUEST IQR COUNCIL ACTION
STAFF REPORT
On December 16, 1988, this office received a request
for a Grant of Easement to Southern California Edison Company,
over City-owned property located on the south side of 7th
Street, between Sierra Way and Waterman Avenue.
This easement is needed by the Edison Company in order
to comply with a Rule 20 request to Underground the electric
service between Sierra Way and Waterman Avenue.
It is recommended that the attached resolution be
approved authorizing and directing the execution of said Grant
of Easement.

EASEMENT TO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY, A CORPORATION,
OVER CITY OWNED PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF 7TH STREET,
BETWEEN SIERRA WAY AND WATERMAN AVENUE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
5 CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1 .
That the City of San Bernardino execute a
7 Grant of Easement to Southern California Edison Company, a
8 Corporation,
for
transmission
of
electrical
energy
and
9 appurtenant facilities.

SECTION 2. That the said Grant of Easement referred to
11 herein, a copy of which is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A,"
12 and is hereby referred to and made a part hereof as fully as
13 though set out at length herein, is hereby approved.

SECTION 3. That the Mayor of the City of San Bernardino
15 is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Grant of
16 Easement on behalf of the City of San Bernardino.
