approved; and the Director of Public Works/City Engineer
authorized to advertise for bids.

STAFF REPORT
Plans for the installation of intercepting sewers in
the Muscoy are..'. have been prepared by the Engineering
Division, and the project is ready to be advertised for bids.
The project will consist of installing 18 24-inch intercepting
sewers to serve the northwest area of the City. A map of this
project is attached for reference.
Listed below is an estimate of the total project cost:
Construction Contract - $ 1,283,000
Engineering & Inspection (W.O. U851) 59,700
Sub-Total $ 1,342,700
Contingencies (8%) :!: 106,300
TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT COST $ 1,447,000
An amount of $1,459,300 has been allocated, under
Account No. 245-365-57729, to finance the cost that will be
incurred for this project.
We recommend that the plans be approved and
authorization granted to advertise for bids.
