Synopsis of Previous Council action:
On February 6, 1989, the Mayor and Common. Council adopted a financing strategy for
certain public improvements in the Verdemont Area.
Recommended motion:
Continue the matter of timing and permit issuance relating to the Verdemont Area
Financing Strategy to March 13, 1989.

STAFF REPORT
On February 6, 1989, the Mayor and Common Council approved and adopted a
financing strategy for certain public improvements in the Verdemont Area.
Included in the staff report out1inin~ the strategy was a brief discussion
regarding the timing and issuance of grading and building permits. The
staff report indicated a report would be submitted to the Mayor and Common
Council at the February 20, 1989, Council meeting.
Subsequent to the submission of the staff report noted above, Councilman
Minor met with staff and requested that this matter be heard at the March 13,
1989, Council meeting, rather than the February 20, 1989, as originally
scheduled. Staff agreed to place an item on the agenda requesting a contin-
uance of this matter to March 13, 1989.
I recommend adoption of the form motion.
