1. REPORT ON ENCROACHMENTS IN STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY BEING
A HAZARD OR HINDRANCE - TRACT NO. 11118, MEYERS ROAD - Item
continued. Oral reports were received from Mr. Hardgrave,
Mr. Palmer, Mr. Bicher and the city Attorney. The Committee
requested that Mr. Hardgrave and the City Attorney review the
possibility of an agreement between the property owners and
the city. The City would dedicate the property but maintain
authority to encroach at some time in the future if setbacks
were deemed necessary.
2. FINANCING CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS IN VERDEMONT AREA-
Item continued. The Committee requested that Mr. Richardson,
Mr. Kilger, the City Attorney, an ERC representative and Mr.
Hardgrave meet to determine whether a negative declaration
can be issued. The Committee is to provide a full report to
the Committee on January 19 addressing necessary studies,
fees, time frame from ERC and any other related issues.
3. PROPOSED ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH A PERMANENT POLICY
AND GUIDELINES FOR QUALITY MANAGED GROWTH IN SAN BERNARDINO -
Item continued. The Committee requested all concerned
departments to review, provide input on the recommended
ordinance and bring back to the Legislative Review Committee
on February 23. Mr. Richardson will coordinate.
