The proposed purchase is for Non-Illuminated signs for the Five Level Parking
Structure to be utilized in daily operations by the Public Buildings
Department.
At the request of the department, appropriate specifications were prepared,
published and furnished to area suppliers. Bids were publicly opened and
declared on December 13, 1988. The following is a summary of Bids received.

Fourteen (14) supliers of this commodity were solicited. Five (5) responded,
three (3) with no bids. Two (2) of the bids were valid.

Buil di ngs who concurs that the Bi d of ASI Si gn Systems meets speci fi cati ons
and requirements. It is therefore recommended that the Bid be accepted for
contract. The equipment funding is billable to RDA.

RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION of THE CITY of SAN BERNARDINO AWARDING A CONTRACT To ASI SIGNS
SYSTEM FOR THE FURNISHING AND DELIVERY of NON-ILLUMINATED SIGNS FoR THE FIVE
LEVEL PARKING STRUCTURE, TO BE UTILIZED BY THE PUBLIC BUILDINGS DEPARTMENT IN
ACCORDANCE WITH BID SPECIFICATION F-89-I9.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That ASI Si9ns Systems is the lowest and best responsible
bidder for the furnishing and delivery of Non-Illuminated Signs for the five
level parking structure, in accordance with Bid Specification F-89-19 for the
total amount of $40,578.00; pursuant to this determination, the Purchasin9
Agent is hereby authorized and directed to issue a purchase order for said
ASI Sign Systems to said lowest and best responsible bidder; such award shall
only be effective upon the issuance of a purchase order by the Purchasing
Agent; and all other quotations therefor are hereby rejected.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by
the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino at a
