To the Mayor ana Common Council.
In June of 1988 the City Attorney's Office presented to you.
in closed session. reasons to extend the Stipulation
Judgement set by The California Superior Court in May of
1987 regarding the reconstruction of our home at 5718 North
'0/ Street. Enclosed is a copy of the letter the Deputy City
Attorney requested at the time stating the status of
construction. The City Council granted the extentlon to the
16th of December. 1988.
The Building and Safety Department have been making regular
inspections during the progress of construction and we have
passed ai I inspections. We just had our combination
inspection on Monaay with no problems. My neighbors have
been happy to see the construction progress with no
complaints. We are about 60 to 70% completed at this time.
I would like to ask the City Council to allow me to appear
before them to extend the Modified Stipulation to give us
the time we need to finalize the reconstruction of our,home.
Please let me know if I can be fit Into the agenda.
