06-03-85 -- Resolution No. 85- adopted awarding a contract for
Assessment District No. 951 to Sandahl's Landscape for
the low bid price of $1,440.00.
06-02-86 -- Resolution No. 86-200 adopted awarding a contract for
Assessment District No. 952 to J & R Landscape Mainten-
ance Co. for the low bid price of $16,800.00.
06-02-86 -- Resolution No. 86-232 adopted awarding a contract for
Assessment District No. 951 to Mentone Turf Supply for
the low bid price of $2,698.00.

Recommended motion:
That Change Order No. One to the contract with Cherokee Landscape
~ Services to maintain landscaping in Assessment Districts No. 951 &
952, be approved, authorizing the contractor to replace various
shrubs and ground cover, and revise irrigation systems, for a net
increase in the contract price of $5,945, from $41,623.00 to
$47,568.00.

This Assessment District has a long standing problem
with the existing landscaping in the vicinity of University
Parkway and College Avenue. Contract Change Order No. One will
authorize the contractor to remove and replace dead shrubs and
ground cover, and revise the existing irrigation systems along
the west side of University Parkway and on College Avenue.
These improvements are required to bring this area up to
standard with the rest of the district.
The Contractor has agreed to perform the extra work for
the net cost of $5,945.00. Funds will be provided by
Assessment District Account No. 952, Account No. 251-623-53925,
to finance the cost for this change order. These costs will be
charged back to the property owners through their annual
assessments.
We recommend that this change order be approved.
