However, the existing street lighting system was the older, direct burial street light conductor. The Contractor agreed to install a new, City-furnished street light in lieu of relocating the existing light, which would bring the installation up to current standards. In order to provide electrical service, the installation of two conduits was required beneath the new driveway approach. The Contractor performed this work on a time and material basis for a total cost of $858.00. Contract Change Order No. Six will authorize the Contractor to install these conduits, increasing the contract price by $858.00, from $833,687.00 to $834,545.00. The contract was awarded $869,000.00.
