The Registrar of Voter's office must assist the City
whenever an election is conducted because they have the
registration information the City needs in order to communicate
with the voters.
State law requires a resolution whenever a city needs
election information from the County.

RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO REQUESTING THAT THE
BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO PERMIT THE
COUNTY REGISTRAR OF VOTERS TO RENDER SERVICES TO THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO, RELATING TO A MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON MARCH
7, 1989.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. As authorized by Section 22003 of the Election
Code of the State of California, the Mayor and Common Council
request that the Board of Supervisors of the County of San
Bernardino permit the County Registrar of voters to furnish
services and supplies to this City for use in the Primary
Municipal Election to be held on March 7, 1989. The services and
supplies to be provided are a data processing tape containing the
names and addresses of all registered voters in the City of San
Bernardino, four indexes per polling place, polling place roster
indexes, and other services as may be required by the City Clerk
for the conduct of the election.
SECTION 2. The City shall reimburse the County of San
Bernardino for services performed when the work is completed ana
upon presentation of a properly approved bill.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall transmit certified copies
of this resolution to the Board of Supervisors and the Registrar
of Voters of the County of San Bernardino.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
