Synopsis of Previous Council action:
On March 21, 1988, the Mayor and Council approved and forwarded to the County
Department of Environmental Health Services, comments and recommendations reviewed
and coordinated by City Staff and the Legislative Review Committee.
On October 24, 1988, the Mayor and Council authorized the Mayor to direct staff to
prepare a letter of comment concerning the County Hazardous Waste Management Plan -
Draft Environmental Impact Report and submit to the County.
Recommended motion:
That the Mayor and Common Council adopt a resolution to direct the San Bernardino
County Department of Environmental Health Services to submit the Revised Draft
CHWMP to the State Department of Health Services by June 1, 1989.
