1. VIEW ORDINANCE FOR SINGLE-FAMILY HOMES IN THE
FOOTHILLS - The Committee recommended approval. The ordi-
nance will be on the June 5 agenda.
2. REVIEW RECOMMENDATIONS RELATIVE TO HANDLING OF
PARADES AND SPECIAL EVENTS - Item continued. The Committee
received and reviewed reports from Department Heads and
staff. There was general consensus that recovery costs in
the amount of a $500 fee for major events and $200 for minor
events plus rental fee of $1 per day, per barricade, were
necessary. Staff will report on prOfit/non-profit rules and
method of accounting for fees. Any required additional costs
will also be presented.
3. REQUEST FOR WAIVER OF REQUIREMENT TO UNDERGROUND
UTILITIES - SOUTHEAST CORNER OF KENDALL DRIVE AND UNIVERSITY
DRIVE - UNIVERSITY SQUARE - REVIEW OF PLANS NO. 86-143 - The
Committee recommended denial of waiver.
4. MEYERS ROAD ENCROACHMENT - The Committee recommended
abandonment of everything except the public utility ease-
ments. This item will be on the June 5 agenda.
