backstop, in 1988/89 Park Construction Fee Fund,

Finding made of need for health and safety reasons.

STAFF REPORT
All work for construction of a chain link backstop for
Barta Field was satisfactorily completed as of 4-14-89.
The contract was awarded for the low bid price of
$40,549.58, which is also the actual final contract price. None
of the contingency funds in the amount of $6,859.42 were spent to
finance the construction contract cost.
We recommend that the work be approved and accepted, and
that final payment be authorized at the expiration of the lien
period.
