CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1.
Bob Britton, Inc. is the lowest responsible
bidder for:
Widening Pepper Avenue at Grade Crossing No. 2-83.9,
in accordance with Plan No.
7555,
for the total amount of
$60,210.53, and a contract is awarded to said bidder accordingly,

but such award shall be effective only upon the contract being
10
fully executed by the parties; all other bids therefore are
11
hereby rejected; and the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed
12
to execute said contract on behalf of the City; a copy of the
13
contract is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A" and incorporated
14
h,"rein by reference as fully as though set forth at length.

SECTION 2. This contract and any amendment or modifica-
tinns
thereto shall not take effect or become operative until
fully signed and executed by the parties and no party shall be

obligated hereunder until the time of such full execution. No

oral
agreements,
amendments,
modifications or waivers are

intended or authorized and shall not be implied from any act or
21
course of conduct of any party.
