Bids for this project were received at 2:00 p.m. on
Tuesday, 3-28-89.
A total of 8 bids were received, ranging from
$285,457.00 to $417,902.00. The low bid. of $285,457.00 is 0.4%
over the Engineer~s Estimate of $284,399.00.
Listed below is an estimate of the total project cost,
based upon the actual low bid price.

NORTHEASTERLY.
RESOLUTION NO.
OF THE CITY OF SAN BtIrnARDINO AWARDING A
STINE FOR INSTALLATION OF A STORM DRAIN IN
FROM ROUTE I-215 TO A POINT 1,200 FEET
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. J. D. Stine is the lowest responsible bidder
for: Installation of a Storm Drain in University Parkway, from
Route I-215 to a point 1,200 feet northeasterly, in accordance
with Plan No. 7329, for the total amount of $285,457.00, and a
contract is awarded to said bidder accordingly, but such award
shall be effective only upon the contract being fully executed by
the parties; all other bids therefore are hereby rejected; and
the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute said
contract on behalf of the City; a copy of the contract is
attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by
reference as fully as though set forth at length.
SECTION 2. This contract and any amendment or modifica-
tions thereto shall not take effect or become operative until
fully signed and executed by the parties and no party shall be
obligated hereunder until the time of such full execution. No
oral agreements, amendments, modifications or waivers are
intended or authorized and shall not be implied from any act or
course of conduct of any party.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
Bernardino at a
