Recommended motion:
That the plans for installation of a block wall in Nicholson
Park, in accordance with Plan No. 8639, be approved; and the
Director of Public Works/City Engineer be authorized to advertise
for bids.

STAFF REPORT
Plans for construction of a block wall in Nicholson Park
have been prepared by the Engineering Division and the project
is ready to be advertised for bids. The project consists, in
general, of constructing a 6-foot concrete block wall along the
north boundary of Nicholson Park, and along the south side of
Fire Station No.9.
Below is an estimate of the total project cost:
Construction Contract $ 21,400
Engineering & Inspection (W.O. #1458) 2,140
Sub-Total $ 23,500
Contingencies (10%)1: 2,300
