RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO ASSESSING CERTAIN
PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
FOR THE COSTS OF ABATEMENT OF PUBLIC NUISANCES (ABANDONED VEHICLES)
ON SAID PROPERTIES.
WBBRBAS, the City of San Bernardino, pursuant to its authority
under Chapter 8.36 of the San Bernardino Municipal Code,
did lawfully give notice of and thereafter abate public nuisances
found to exist on the properties listed below; and
WBBRBAS, pursuant to the San Bernardino Municipal Code, the
Director of Facilities Management Department served notice on all
property owners of the abatement costs for removing abandoned,
wrecked, dismantled, and/or inoperable vehicles or parts thereof
from the property; and
WBBRBAS, opportunity for a hearing of the Board of Building
Commissioners to protest the abatement costs was afforded the
property owners, with no response forthcoming;

as special assessments, the following abatement costs which have
been incurred by the City for the abatement of public nuisances
found to exist on the following properties;

SECTION 2. The above assessments shall be paid to Pacilities
9 Kanaq_ent Department, basement of City Hall, 300 No."D" Street,
10 San Bernardino, CA 92418, within thirty (30) days after notice of
11 this resolution is mailed to all parties with an interest in the
12 above properties. All assessments not fully paid in thirty (30)
13 day. shall become a lien on the property pursuant to The San
14 Bernardino Municipal Code and shall be collected as a special
15 assessment thereon.

17 provided, the city Clerk is directed to file a certified copy of
SECTION 3. If the above assessment is not paid as hereinabove
18 this resolution with the Auditor of the County of San Bernardino,
19 State of California, directing that said assessment be entered as
20
a lien against the property as it appears on the current assessment
21 rolls. The assessment shall be collected at the same time and in
22 the same manner as the general property taxes for the city of San
23 Bernardino including penalties and interest for delinquent
24
payments.

The city Clerk shall also present for recording appropriate
26 notices of the imposition of these liens with the County Recorder.
