STAFF REPORT
The Board of Water Commissioners entered into an agreement
with the Board of Directors of Valley Farms Mutual Water
Company in November, 1988. The agreement established the
terms and conditions for the Board to acquire Valley Farms
water system and for the City of San Bernardino Water Depart-
ment to provide water service to the service area, commencing
March 1, 1989.
Valley Farms service area is bounded on the north by Central
Avenue, on the east by Waterman Avenue and on the west by the
San Bernardino County Flood Control Channel.
One condition of the acquisition agreement
Farms Mutual Water Company was to deed all
the City of San Bernardino.
It is recommended that the Quitclaim Deeds for two (2)
parcels of land from Valley Farms Mutual Water Company be
accepted and the property dedicated for Water Department use.

A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN BERNARDINO, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION, ACCEPTING TWO QUITCLAIM
DEEDS FROM VALLEY FARMS MUTUAL WATER COMPANY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

That the City of San Bernardino does hereby
accept two Quitclaim Deeds from Valley Farms Mutual Water
Company, in accordance with terms and conditions established by
the Purchase Agreement.

That a copy of the Quitclaim Deeds are attached
hereto marked Exhibits WAW and wBw, and made a part hereof as
fully as though set forth at length herein.

That all property affected by this transaction
will be dedicated for Water Department use.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be
attached to said Quitclaim Deeds, and that the same be recorded
in the Office of the County Recorder of San Bernardino County.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
