STAFF REPORT
The Registrar of Voter's office must assist the City whenever an election is
conducted because they have the registration information the City needs in order
to communicate with the voters.
State law requires a resolution whenever a city needs election information
from the County.

OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO PERMIT THE COUNTY REGISTRAR
3 OF VOTERS TO RENDER SERVICES TO THE CITY OF SAN BEI!NARDINO, RELATING TO A
GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON MAY 2, 1989.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BER-
S NARDI NO AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. As authorized by Section 22003 of the Election Code of
7 the State of California, the Mayor and Common Council request that the Board
8 of Supervisors of the County of San Bernardino permit the County Registrar
9 of Voters to furnish services and supplies to this City for use in the
10 General Municipal Election to be held on May 2, 1989. The services and
11 supplies to be provided are a data processing tape containing the names and
12 addresses of all registered voters in the City of San Bernardino, four
13 indexes per polling place, polling place roster indexes, and other services
14 as may be required by the City Clerk for the conduct of the election.

SECTION 2. The City shall reimburse the County of San Bernardino
16 for services performed when the work is completed upon presentation of a
17 properly approved bill.

SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall transmit certified copies of this
19 resolution to the Board of Supervisors and the Registrar of Voters of the
20 County of San Bernardino.
