Description) N/A Finance: Council Notes: Agenda Item No. JoJ /S}/)7 I:L e e e CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO - REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION Staff Report SUBJECT: Resolution authorizing and directing the execution of a Grant of Easement to Southern California Edison, across Water Department property located on the south side of Industrial Road, east of Waterman Avenue. BACKGROUND: This office received a request for a Grant of Easement to Southern California Edison, across Water Department property located on the south side of Industrial Road, east of Waterman Avenue, known as Assessor's Parcel No. 0141-342-04. A copy of the Assessor's map is attached for reference. The easement is needed by Edison to provide electrical service to a current development, Waterman Business Park, adjacent to this site. The parcel across which the easement is being granted is an approximately 20 feet by 23 feet of unimproved land. The Water Department has indicated that they have no present or planned facilities at this location, and on September 18, 2007, the Board of Water Commissioners approved the grant of easement across this parcel. The attached resolution authorizes and directs the execution of a Grant of Easement to Southern California Edison.
