STAFF REPORT
EDA Acauisition/Broker Poliey
During discussions conducted by the Community Development Commission
relating to the Pacific Federal Acquisition, it was suggested that the
Commission approve and adopt an Acquisition/Broker policy for future
Agency purchases and sales of real property. The matter was
subsequently referred to the Redevelopment Committee for further study.
In the interim staff has prepared a proposed policy and conducted
internal discussions regarding same. Additionally, the proposed policy
is under review by the San Bernardino Board of Realtors. It is
anticipated that the Board of Realtors review and comments, if any, can
be incorporated into the draft policy and brought before the
Redevelopment Committee on March 19, 1992.
Based upon the foregoing, staff recommends adoption of the form motion.
