APPOINTMENT OF TIMOTHY C. STEINHAUS

Today the Comllnmity Development Commission unanimously approved the
appointment of Mr. Timothy C. Steinhaus as Asency Administrator of the
Economic Development Agency. Mr. Steinhaus will be on board beginning Monday,
January 28, 1991.

Mr. Steinhaus has a master's degree in Public Administration and a
baccalaureate degree in Environmental Studies. He comes to us from his
current position as the Assistant Director of Redevelopment and Economic
Development for the City of Palm Springs. Prior to his position in Palm
Springs, Mr. Steinhaus was employed by the City of Ontario for 11 years in the
positions of Deputy Community Economic Development Director, Deputy lxecutive
Director of Redevelopment and Director of Housing.
Mr. Steinhaus comes to us highly recommended and I know he will do an
outstanding job. Please extend to him the support and dedication you have
demonstrated to me.
