STAFF REPORT
The City is presently widening Waterman Avenue to accommodate proposed new
construction in this area. The City of San Bernardino owns the properties leased
by the Army and Navy Reserves. Redevelopment owns a 50 foot strip between the
two City properties.
The attached Resolution establishes a boundary and widens the right of way for
this portion of Waterman Avenue between 3rd Street and 4th Street, and designates
the City properties for street and highway purposes.

RESOLlTION NO.
RESOL\iTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO ESTABLISHING A BOUNDARY
FOR A PORTION OF THE WEST SIDE OF WATER~N AVENUE BETWEEN 3RD STREET AND 4TH
STREET AND DEDICATION OF SAME FOR STREET AND HIGHWAY PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That the Mayor and COlllmon Council of the City of San
Bernardino hereby establish a boundary for a portion of the West side of
Watermall Avenue, between 3rd Street alld 4th Street, described as follows:
Those portions of Parcels 8 and 1 of Parcel ~Iap :io. i140,
as per plat recorded in Book 69 of Parce 1 ~Iaps, Pages 1
and ~, in the office of the County Recorder of San
Bernar-dino County, State of California, ly-ing within the
following described property:
Begimling at the Southeast corner of said Parce 1 8;
thence North along the East line of Parcels 8, 9 and 1,
of said Parcel Map No. 7140, a distance of 599.82 feet,
more or less, to the Northeast corner of said Parcell;
thence West along the North line of said Parcel 1, a
distance of 17.04 feet; thence Southeasterly in a
straight line, a distance of 13.14 feet to a point in a
line which is parallel with and 7.75 feet West of and
measured at right angles to said East line of Parcels 1,
9 and 8, said point being South thereon, a distance of
9.29 feet from the North line of said Parcell; thence
South along said parallel line to a point which is North
thereon, a distance of 9.29 feet from the South line of
said Parcel 8;. thence Southwesterly in a straight line, a
distance of 13.14 feet to a point on the South line of
said Parcel 8 that is West thereon, a distance of 17.04
feet frolll the Point of Beginning; thence East along said
South line of said Parcel 8, a distance of 17.04 feet to
said Point of Beginning.
SECTION 2.
That the Mayor and CORUllon Council of the City of
San
Bernardino hereby' dedicate for street and highway purposes, all of the
above
described portion of the West side of Waterman Avenue between 3rd Street
and
4th Street.
SECTION 3.
That the City' Clerk of the City of San Bernardino
shall cause a certified copy of the Resolution to be recorded in the office
of the County- Recorder of the County of Sail Bernardino.
