Recommended motion:
That the plans for installation of street name signs in Census
Tracts No. 59, 60, 64, 65 & 72, in accordance with Plan No. 8346,
be approved, and the Director of Public Works/City Engineer
authorized to advertise for bids.

STAFF REPORT
Plans for installing new street name signs in Census
Tracts No. 59, 60, 64, 65 & 72 have been prepared by the
Engineering Division, and the project is ready to be advertised
for bids. Street name signs will be installed on the following
streets:

3. Arrowhead Avenue
4. Baseline Street
5. Carnegie Drive
6. Central Avenue
7. "E" Street
8. "G" Street
9. Inland Center Dr.
10. Mill Street
11. Rialto Avenue

13. Waterman Avenue
14. Hospitality Lane

Engineering & Inspection (W.O. #1908) 4,000
Sub-Total $ 41,000

TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT COST $ 47,500
An amount of $50,000 has been allocated, under Account
No. 121-544-52544-00000-0047, from CDBG funds to finance the
costs that will be incurred for this project.
We recommend that the plans be approved and authori-
zation granted to advertise for bids.
