STAFF REPORT
The City of San Bernardino is improving Kendal I Dr'ive and "H" strf'f't with traffic
lights, stref't widening, sidewalks and other street improvf'ments. The City is
also replacing the dip crossing on "H" Street with a reinforced hridge clIlvert
Ilnd raising thf' level of the strf'et in order to alleviate the sf'riolls flooding
which occurs at this crossing. The Flood Control Distrid hils Ilgre..d to this
pIa" IlTlel hils prepllred a Common IIse Agreemf'Jlt for the joint use of 1.h..se two
arefts.
This individullI acceptance is necf'ssary as the Common Use Agreem..nt from the
COImty contains certain condit ions and cov..nant s. The doclIment, however, does
not contllin any unduly advf'rsf' restTictions or reservalions, and no app,'oprilltion
of monf'Y is required.
It is therefore Staff's recommendation that the Common Use Agreement be accepted
and the documents be executed.
