STAFF REPORT
Plans for the installation of street lights at various
locations have been prepared by the Engineering Division, and the
project is ready to be advertised for bids. The project consists
of installing street lights at the following locations:

2. Highland Ave. Guthrie to Route 30 2 9,000
3. Waterman Ave. 7th St. to 9th St. 2 7,000
4. Cajon H.S. Hill Dr. & Mountain 6 27,000
5. liD" Street Northeast Cor. 13th St. 1 4,500
Contract Price $ 79,000
Engineering & Inspection (W.O. #1703) 7,500
Sub-Total $ 86,500
Contingencies (5%) :t 4,500
TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT COST $ 91,000
All costs incurred for these street lights will be
~harged to the $94,000, allocated under Account No. 257-308-5903,
J.n the Street Lighting/Sweeping Fund, for "Alterations and
Renovations."
We recommend that the plans be approved and authorization
granted to advertise for bids.
