On October 7, 1991 the Mayor and Common Council considered an item
setting a public meeting and creating both an ordinance and
resolution on the special fee areas in general and the specific fee
being considered for the box culvert and traffic signal at
Palm/Cable creek and Palm/Kendall.
On October 21, 1991 the ordinance was given first reading but
separated from the resolution. Second reading of the ordinance was
continued from 11-4-91 to 1-6-92 pending determination that the
ordinance did not require a public hearing.
Public notice for a public hearing on the resolution has been
published beginning on February 7, 1992, however, the staff report
and agenda item were not found nor did they make the agenda for
February 17, 1992. Additionally, it has been determined that the
original setting of a pUblic meeting in October of 1991 is not
adequate notice. Therefore, staff recommends setting the public
hearing for March 16, 1992 and that consideration be given at that
meeting for the resolution.
