POSITION JUSTIFICATIONS The following are justifications for classified appointments, promotions and other personnel actions to be reviewed by the Mayor and Common Council at the October 2, 2000 Council meeting. CLASSIFIED GENERAL FUND 4. Disoatcher I (Acosta. B.) - Appointment FIRE Brian Acosta is being hired to replace an employee in the position of Dispatcher II who transferred to another position in the Fire Prevention Bureau. 5. Accountina Technician I (Kina. L.) - Promotion FINANCE The primary duty of the Accounting Technician I position that is being filled in the Finance Department is to help process the various payrolls done every month for the City and Water Department. If this position is not filled, Finance would have difficulty processing all payrolls in a timely manner. #8 10/2100
