RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO ESTABLISHING 3 FAIR MARKET VALUE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF i"D STREET AND VIADUCT BOULEVARD, BEING A 4 PORTION OF REAL PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NUMBER 0138-263-02, RELATIVE TO THE EXTENSION OF GIOV ANOLA A VENUE. 5 WHEREAS, the City of San Bernardino desires to acquire a portion of that certain 6 7 parcel ofreal property located at the northeast comer of 2nd Street and Viaduct Boulevard in said 8 City, being a portion of real property commonly known as Assessor's Parcel Number 0138-263- 9 02, and more fully described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof, relative to 10 the extension of Giovanola Avenue; and 11 12 13 14 WHEREAS, Robert L. Kovats is the record owner of said real property to be acquired; and WHEREAS, an appraisal has been prepared by The Real Estate Mart, a Califomia 15 general certified appraiser; and 16 WHEREAS, City has reviewed the appraiser's determination of the fair market value 17 of the land and his report thereon; and 18 19 WHEREAS, staff has amended said determination of fair market value as a result of an 20 increase of area to be acquired. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON 21 COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: 22 23 SECTION 1. That said parcel of real property owned by Robert L.
