STAFF REPORT
Attorney Richard R. Terzian of Burke, williams & Sorensen has
requested that the City and County appropriate an additional
$7,500 each for attorney's fees incurred in the Indian Bingo
lawsuit.
The additional fees will cover negotiations for a stipulated
judgment or agreement settling the Indian litigation, filing
an amended complaint and/or the certification of a class of
plaintiffs to the Court should Western Entertainment
Corporation and San Manuel Band of Mission Indians require
such a certification in final settlement of the lawsuit.
To date, the City has paid $22,803.16 to Burke, Williams &
Sorensen.
