STAFF REPORT
Staff has been working with the developer on a confidential basis with respect
to a development on the southwest corner of 7th and Waterman Avenue. The
project is related to the development of a one-stop automotive retail and
service center that would provide a complete menu of goods and services in a
service area that initially is expected to be bounded by Ontario on the west,
Redlands on the east, Corona on the south and the mountains to the north.
Given the nature of the project and the potential problems with acquiring the
site, UDAG assistance is necessary to see the project through fruition.
Adoption of the form motion by the Mayor and Common Council would authorize
staff to develop and submit a UDAG application to KUD.
