CI,-(; OF SAN BERNARDI~ - REQUEQ FOR COUNCIL AC\:bN STAFF REPORT The property owner for those parcels within Parcel Map 6406, which is located South of Columbia Street, West of "G" Street, has petitioned the City to vacate a portion of Crescent Street in order that they may develop the entire parcel to its highest potential. It is al so one of the requirements that the Planning Department has made for this project. It is our belief that that portion of Crescent Street to the South can also be vacated, and we are in the process of contacting those abutting property owners for approval. It is most important to the property owner of Parcel Map 6406 that we start the street vacation proceedings as soon as possible. We recommend that the attached Resolution be passed. To run two separate proceedings would be cumbersome and costly, and as mentioned, the property owners to the North do not have the time to. wa it. We can hold the fi nal proceedi ng until the abutti ng property owners to the South have replied. We can still vacate that portion as requested by the property owners with little or no time lost. 2 75-0264 c .....:...-. I r- 't1 CITY or SAN 8ERN.ARDINQ.
