STAFF REPORT
The City of San Bernardino acquired interest in a parcel of
land 25' x 113' in 1954.
The property owner received a building permit and constructed a
garage to the West, and for over 25 years has used the parcel
in question for ingress and egress. Recently his wife passed
away. and he wi shed to sell his house; however. there is no
recorded easement from the City that officially allows him
access rights.
We recommend that the attached Resolution be passed granting
the property to the West access rights over the parcel in
question.

RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO GRANTING AN
EAS01ENT TO RAn10ND K. SAAR, A WIDO~IER, OVER CITY OWNED
PROPERTY LOCATED NORTH OF GLENDENNING WAY, EAST OF VALENCIA
AVENUE, AND DETERMINING THAT THE PROPERTY TO BE CONVEYED HAS A
VALUE OF LESS THAN $2,000.00.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNC IL OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION ONE: That the City of San Bernardino approves
8 the authorization of a Grant Easement to Raymond K. Saar, a
9 widower, over City owned property located North of Glendenning
10 Way, East of Valencia Avenue.

SECTION TWO: The Mayor and Common Council of the City
12 of San Bernardino hereby determine that the property being
13 conveyed has a value of less than $2,000.00.

SECTION THREE:
That the Mayor of the Ci ty of San
15 Bernardino is hereby authorized and directed to execute said
16 Grant of Easement on behalf of the City of San Bernardino, a
17 copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and
18 incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth at
19 length.
20 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly
21 adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the Ci ty of San
22 Bernardino at a

Beginning at a point 290 feet Easterly from the Southwest
corner of Lot 3, Block 1, Arrowhead Junction Tract as shown
on the plat thereof of record in the Recorder's Office in
Book 12 of Maps, at Page 11, Records of San Bernardino
County; thence Northerly parallel to the Westerly line of
said Lot 3, 113 feet to a point; thence Easterly parallel
to the South line of said Lot 3, 25 feet to a point; thence
Southerly to a point on said South line of said Lot 3,
which point is 25 feet Easterly from said point of
beginning, thence Westerly 25 feet to the point of
beginning.
