Synopsis of Previous Council action:
April 7, 1986 - Approved the Speicher Memorial Park concept and directed city staff
to work with the volunteer group in achieving the development of the park.
Recommended motion:
That $2,853 from Fourth Ward and $2,747 from Seventh Ward Park Extension funds for the
purchase of park furnishings for installation at the Speicher Family Memorial Park be
approved.

STAFF REPORT
The Speicher Family Memorial Park will be located at Arden and Pacific Streets on the
city-owned Patton property. Volunteers will be completing such work as grading, trench-
ing, irrigation, landscaping, concrete work, construction of the restroom shell, and
construction of a parking lot. All work will be accomplished under the supervision of
city forces.
The city will install the park furnishings as follows:
3 concrete picnic tables
3 BBQ's
5 waste containers
Tot lot equipment
The total cost for puchase of the above equipment is $5,600.
This item has been coordinated with Council Office.
