Synopsis of Previous Council action:
11-07-83 - Resolution No. 83-384 adopted granting authorization to file 1983-84
Project Proposals with SANBAG for funding pursuant to SB 832 for
bicycle and pedestrian facilities.
12-16-85 - Plans approved and authorization granted to advertise for bids.
02-17-86 - Resolution 86-45 adopted awarding a contract to Redlands Paving for
the low bid price of $23,603.50.
Recommended motion:
That the work performed by the Contractor, in accordance
with Specification No. 6858, be approved and accepted;
and that final payment be authorized at the expiration
of the lien period.

All work under this contract was satisfactorily completed as of
The contract was awarded for the low bid price of $23,603.50. The
actual final contract price is $23,988.30, due to an increase in the final
quantity of concrete sidewalk from the estimated quantity in the bid docu-
ments.
We recommend that the work be approved and accepted and that final
payment be authorized.
