The Negative Declaration for environmental review was also recommended for approval. Recommended motion: To approve the responses to comments and to adopt the Negative Declaration for environmental review which has been reviewed and considered. To approve, modify or reject the findings and the recommendation of the Planning Commission and to direct the City Attorney to prepare the necessary amendments to the Zoning Ordinance. ~Fk ran ~ A. The applicant is proposing to change the zoning of 3.9 acres of land from its present C-M, Commercial Manufacturing to that of R-1-7200, Single Family Residential and C-3A, Limited General Commercial. The site is located on the northwesterly corner of June Street and Cajon Blvd. 2. The General Plan designates the site for light industrial land uses and low-medium density residential land uses at 4-7 units per acre. Neighbor- hood commercial sites of 2.5 acres or less are permitted in General Plan in non-commercial designated area subject to the approval of the Planning Commission. 3. The front 2.4 acre area is to be changed to C-3A, the remaining 1.5 acres is to be changed to R-1-7200. 4. The purpose of the change of zone is to correct the zoning boundarys as proposed within Tentative Tract No. 13274 approved at the Planning Commission meeting of April 8, 1986. 5. At the regularly scheduled meeting of May 1,1986, the Environmental Review Committee recommended the adoption of a negative declaration. RECOMr~ENDATION Based upon the observations, staff recommends approval of Change of Zone No. 86-13 and the adoption of the negative declaration. Respectfully submitted, FRANK A.
