At a neighborhood meeting on June 5, 1986, the citizens
agreed that a petition would be presented to the Mayor and Common
Council. The following is the petition:
We, the citizens of the Downtown area, from 4th Street
to 13th and east of the 215 Freeway to Mt. View, San Bernardino,
do hereby petition the Mayor and City Council to enforce the
laws on prostition,- drugs and crime in our area. We request
the names of law violators be forwarded to The Sun newspaper
for publication.
