STAFF REPORT
The bulk of this project is to be done by City Forces, but it has been
1", determined that it would be necessary to have the chain link fence, concrete
curb around the track, pipe gate and mow strip done by contract. Plans for
the installation of these items have been prepared by the Engineering Division
and the project is ready to be advertised for bids.
The Engineer's Estimate of the contract cost is $32,132. Engineering
costs will be charged to previously issued Work Order No. 1704.
A total amount of $75,000 has been allocated for this project. De-
ducting the estimated contract cost from this allocation leaves $42,868 to
finance the items being done by City Forces.
We recommend that the plans be approved and authorization granted to
advertise for bids.
