Dear Mayor and Council:
Re: Proposed construction of the Tire Burning Plant in the
City of Rialto
I am representing a group of citizens who oppose the construc-
tion of the Tire Burning Plant in Rialto. The plant is supposed to
provide 60 to 120 jobs. However. it will produce 675 tons of air
pollutants each year. This plant is being built without' an environ-
mental impact study. We believe that it should be stopped because
it will affect substantially the air quality in the San Bernardino
Valley,'
